Present at the National Delta congress

On Thursday, November 10, we will be at the Delta Congress of the National Delta Program in MECC Maastricht, showcasing models and the photo project #herecomestheflood. If you are interested in our work, please come talk to us—you won't be able to miss us.

Lively conversations took place around the topic. Among the many visitors, Minister Barbara Visser and Delta Commissioner Peter Glas also posed on the ladders with models Loïs and Guitho.

In this series, models dressed in red traditional costumes pose on ladders throughout the Netherlands, with their hand positions indicating the height of the water in the event of flooding. As part of my ambassadorship for the UNESCO Geopark Schelde Delta, and in collaboration with the Watersnoodmuseum, Zeeland Province Geopark Schelde Delta, and NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, various exhibitions will continue until the end of 2022, raising awareness about living with water.
